So you've scheduled a junk removal pickup β great. Here's how to make the most of it and get the best value out of your appointment.
Sort before we arrive. You don't have to move anything β that's our job. But if you know what you want to keep vs. what goes, it speeds things up and means we're not asking questions while we work. If you're doing a garage or estate cleanout, even a quick mental walkthrough helps.
Clear a path if you can. We go wherever the junk is β upstairs, basement, attic, wherever. But if there's a clear path from the items to the door, it makes the job faster and safer for everyone. Move any pets or kids to another area while we're working.
Know your load size. If you can text us a photo ahead of time, we can give you an even more accurate quote. Our pricing is based on how much trailer space your junk takes up β a small pile is $139, a full trailer is $479. No surprises.
We handle the rest. Lifting, hauling, loading, disposal β all us. Most jobs take 30β60 minutes. You won't lift a finger.

Behind the Scenes

It's a fair question β and one we get asked a lot. Here's exactly what happens to your stuff after we load it up and drive away.
We use a licensed transfer station. Trash Wrangler hauls all loads to a licensed transfer station here in the OKC area. It's permitted, regulated, and a lot cheaper than per-ton facilities β which is part of why our pricing is competitive. We're not dumping things illegally on the side of a road somewhere.
We separate what can be recycled. Metal appliances, electronics, and certain materials get separated out before disposal. Scrap metal in particular gets recycled rather than landfilled whenever possible.
Usable items get donated. If there are items in good condition β furniture, clothing, household goods β we'll donate them when feasible. We'd rather something get a second life than go straight to the landfill.
The rest goes to the transfer station. What's left gets properly disposed of through the licensed facility. You don't have to worry about where it ends up or whether it's handled responsibly β that's our job.

Don't try to do it all in one day. Estate cleanouts β especially whole-home cleanouts β are big jobs. It's okay to sort over a few days and schedule the haul once you know what's going. We can do the physical removal in a single trip once you're ready.
Three-pile method. As you go through the home, sort everything into three groups: keep, donate, and haul. The "haul" pile is what we'll take. The clearer those boundaries are, the smoother the job goes.
